GOLGI APPARATUS: Packaging Machine Modifies, sorts, packs protein —> sends it to its destination Lysosome: type of vesicle originating from GA. Helps digest food, protects against invaders, removes cell debris in damaged tissues. Vacoles: membrane bound sacs containing liquid/solid particles to be digested, excreted, or stored. Formed in phagocytic cells Phagosome: merged structure of lysosome and vacoles
